Christian Action League
October 23, 2013

Television viewers across the country will get a chance to learn about the Christian Action League and its strategic role in the formation of public policy matters taken up by the North Carolina Legislature this Thursday as an episode of the WRAY talk show “Triangle Alive” airs nationally on the TCT Network.
This program, featuring an interview with the Rev. Mark Creech, the Christian Action League’s executive director, will be shown Thursday at 5:30 p.m. Eastern Time in both standard (SD) and high definition (HD) formats.
The TCT Network is an Emmy Award honoree and is recognized as a leader in Christian Television, having earned the 2009 Christian Network of the Year Award. In the CAL piece, “Triangle Alive,” host Roger Wiggs talks with Dr. Creech about the unique ministry the League provides in the North Carolina General Assembly and its efforts to address from a strong Christian worldview the great moral issues of today.
“We were blessed to have the interview air locally earlier this year in February,” Dr. Creech said. “So we are spreading the word now and urging folks to tune in to the TCT Network Thursday at 5:30 p.m. This way, folks who were unable to access the program locally before can see it. It gives us a greater visibility, allowing more North Carolinians, as well as others nationally to learn about what we do.”
Dr. Creech explained this is not the second or last interview he had on “Triangle Alive,” when he discussed the serious financial challenges of the League earlier this month. But this is a previous interview that took place back in February when the host, Roger Wiggs, was simply attempting to acquaint North Carolina viewers with CAL’s critical work.
“We keep praising and thanking God for opportunities like this one,” said Dr. Creech. “We pray the Lord will use this interview as it’s televised to a wider audience. We pray God will use it to provide many others to come alongside of us to help. I trust that not only will our friends make an effort to watch, but that they will also pray God will use the program to advance his kingdom purposes.”
