By Jeff Larson – The Back Pew

“Maya Angelou, in her poem ‘Touched by an Angel,’ wrote the line ‘There is no agony like bearing an untold story inside of you.’ In our low moments, in our weaknesses, it is in the glory of the gospel we find God’s incredible, all-sufficient grace. Our extremity is God’s opportunity to do something magnificent in us and through us. It may sound corny, but its true: no pain, no gain. No rain, no harvest. Our troubles, our difficulties and drawbacks, provide the prospect for an invigorated and improved faith. Whatever we cannot do, God surely can.”
