The Scriptures says that “Esau despised his birthright”……. Gen 25:34
It says further in Malachi of God’s thoughts of Esau and they weren’t good- the word used was hated (loathing/disgust) toward Esau. I could never understand that……. at least until now. I got a smack in the head, again.
Esau has been out all day and he comes in ravished. His brother, Jacob, is cooking up a yummy pot of stew. In short Esau wants some stew so he agrees to give Jacob his BIRTHRIGHT for a bowl of it. He traded his birthright for IMMEDIATE SATISFACTION.
We must understand that the birthright of those days was so very important! This was the son responsible for the lineage, the one who received the estate, the one that was the family leader, the one who would follow God and make sure the family stayed in line too. The father put the hope of his life in the firstborn, those that were FIRSTBORN WERE ALWAYS DEDICATED TO GOD!!!!
BUT ESAU DESPISED HIS BIRTHRIGHT! He despised who God made him to be!!!!!
Welcome to 2022, where entire generations are being taught it’s ok to despise who God made you to be!!!!! You don’t want to be a girl, ok, poof, you can be a guy. You’re a guy and you don’t like it? Poof, you can be a girl! My understanding is clear on this, God does not take this lightly.
The world is telling these poor confused souls, whatever you think you are, you are. (Where’s the science now!?!) The world will let you compete as a girl even if you’re a biological male. Funny how we don’t see many biological girls who think they are guys competing against biological males. We are teaching, “I think I am, therefore I must be” instead of teaching “You were beautifully and wonderfully made” and created for a purpose bigger than yourself. This is also a trade-off for instant gratification. Let me explain.
There isn’t a biological male on the planet that can claim true femininity. You haven’t suffered through 28-day cycles, cramping, spotting, unexpected boo-boos, painful body bloating, severe mood swings, or the “am I pregnant” question. You will never know the feeling of a new life inside your own, your body preparing for birth, your bones shifting to accommodate, the excruciating yet wonderful pain of labor and the permanent body changes after the birth.
While there are women who are unable to conceive, their bodies and minds still go through many of the above mentioned changes and there are plenty more I didn’t mention. What makes a woman isn’t a “feeling”. It’s a GOD GIVEN GIFT that biologically, either you are or are not, period.
We have screwed things up so royally at this point, that I don’t believe there’s any turning back. I’ve had friends share with me what is being taught IN OUR LOCAL SCHOOLS regarding gender and sexual activity and I’m telling y’all, it’s horrifying.
Parents, it’s up to us to “teach our children the way they should go and when they grow old they will not depart from it”.
Teach them they are God’s creation, made IN HIS IMAGE, and there is His reason and purpose for being the way they were created. Do not let them despise who they are.
