Scorecard helps Christians make an intelligent choice this election
Christian Action League
The Christian Action League is the largest affiliate of the American Family Association in North Carolina and AFA Action has compiled a Congressional Scorecard that covers 18 votes in the U.S. House and 25 in the U.S. Senate on vital pro-family issues in the 111th Congress. Pro-family issues in the Scorecard include:
- Taxpayer funding of abortion
- Protecting free exercise of religion at publicly supported colleges
- Passage of national health care reform
- Restricting free speech in elections
- Confirmation of two controversial Supreme Court justices

Tar Heel voters will have a number of choices to make Nov. 2, and thanks to the North Carolina Family Policy Council, their decisions can be informed ones. For the fourth consecutive year, the non-partisan, non-profit research organization has put together a voter guide to give residents a look at the ideologies of candidates for U.S. Congress, the N.C. General Assembly and more than three dozen judiciary seats.
