“In his inaugural oration, George Washington, the venerable father of our nation, imparted a profound truth that resonates through the annals of time: ‘No people can be bound to acknowledge and adore the Invisible Hand which conducts the affairs of men more than those of the United States.’ Undoubtedly, the Almighty’s benevolent gaze has graced America’s journey, shaping its destiny amidst the tumult of history.
“Like a ship navigating treacherous waters, we find ourselves today besieged by a myriad of challenges, each seemingly more daunting than the last. The fabric of our society frays, threatened by discord and division, while the specter of adversity looms large on the horizon.
“Yet, in the face of such danger, there remains a beacon of hope: the clarion call to repentance and redemption. It is in acknowledging our transgressions, in seeking forgiveness for our sins against The Almighty, that we may find solace in the embrace of his divine grace. With unwavering faith in the living Word and reverence for the written Word, we can chart a course towards renewal and restoration.
“Let us, then, heed the wisdom of our forebears and rekindle the flame of righteousness that can burn within our hearts. For in contrition lies our salvation, in fidelity our deliverance. May we, as a nation, rise to meet the challenges of our time, fortified by the knowledge that, with God all things are still possible.”
