Friends,
Last night, late into the evening, Speaker Moore and Senate Pro-Tem, Phil Berger, announced to the press that they had made a deal with Gov. Roy Cooper to repeal HB 2.
The Senate is expected to vote on the measure at 9:15 this morning, it will then go
to the House for a vote. Although a deal has been reached, it is not a foregone conclusion the proposal will pass both chambers.
The Christian Action League has urged lawmakers to stay the course on HB 2, the state’s privacy and bathroom law.
This may be your last chance to tell your state Representative and Senator to standby HB 2. You will need to contact them immediately.
If you don’t know who represents you in the N.C. House and Senate, and don’t know their contact information, go to this link: http://www.ciclt.net/sn/pol/po_districtlookup.aspx?ClientCode=calnc&State=nc&StateName=North%20Carolina
Whatever you do, please don’t neglect to pray.
God Bless,
Dr. Mark Creech
