Attention! Residents of central North Carolina — from Rockingham to Warren counties in the north to Richmond and Columbus counties down south — the Christian Action League’s Annual Convention is coming to your area this Saturday, Oct. 16. The annual meeting, set for 10 a.m. at Vision Baptist Church at 7633 Buffaloe Road in Raleigh, will include information on the issues and inspiration for getting involved. In addition to the Rev. Mark Creech, executive director of the Christian Action League, speakers will include N.C. Sen. Neal Hunt, R-Wake; Alysse ElHage with the North Carolina Family Policy Council; Jeff Mixon with Americans for Prosperity and others.
In addition to those listed above, other counties in the central region include Alamance, Bladen, Caswell, Chatham, Cumberland, Durham, Franklin, Granville, Guilford, Harnett, Hoke, Johnston, Lee, Montgomery, Moore, Orange, Person, Randolph, Robeson, Sampson, Scotland, Vance and Wake.
There is no charge for Saturday’s event which will include lunch hosted by Vision Baptist, where the pastor is the Rev. Al Wright. The convention, one of three meetings scheduled across the state this month, will end at 2 p.m. Pre-registration is not necessary to attend.
