“I’m just beginning my senior years, and it’s not a pretty picture. When you get older, much of the luster of life dims. Your strength diminishes faster, when it used to remain strong. You experience a new pain in your body somewhere regularly. Your mind doesn’t seem as sharp. Your ability to recall things is weaker. Moreover, some research, as well as experience, seems to bear out that if you don’t receive Christ in your youth, the possibility you will never decide for him increases profoundly. “Remember now thy Creator in the days of thy youth (Ecclesiastes 12:1),” admonishes the Bible. Our most significant opportunities to know and serve the Lord come to us when we are young. Don’t waste that time.
