“Some people act as if determining God’s will is like guessing the weather. Fortunately, we have a weatherman who has considered all the meteorological evidence and can tell us how to prepare. That way, there isn’t much guessing at all.
“We can be assured the Bible, the Word of God, gives sufficient principles needed to discern the will of God in any matter. There’s always an element of faith, but faith isn’t so much about taking a leap in the dark, as it is taking all the evidence provided in the Scriptures and following the light we’ve been given. That way, there’s not much guessing, if any at all.”
