Dear Christian Friend,
The year 2015 was a banner year for the Christian Action League’s efforts in the state legislature. It was certainly the best year during my 16 year tenure as executive director. Others who have been a part of the League for decades have said they believe it may be the best year in our organization’s history.
There were big wins that included new laws to protect the unborn, defend our precious religious liberties, and provide greater opportunities for kids to get a private Christian education.
New laws were passed that closed loopholes for taxing church property, ending a de facto moratorium on capital punishment, stopping “revenge porn,” banning powdered alcohol, and honoring the Rev. Billy Graham.
Not only was good legislation passed, but bad legislation was beaten back, which included gambling initiatives and the legalization of medical marijuana.
Last week we reported to you a major victory in pushing back an initiative in Congress to put a Catawba Indian Casino in King’s Mountain, North Carolina.
We are thankful to God for every victory. Each success belongs to Him. But we are also grateful to our partners who have prayed about these matters, made phone calls and sent emails to their legislators, and provided financially for this ministry.
For more specifics, read the League’s 2015 Legislative Wrap-Up.
Moreover, let me add that giving to the League has improved. Last year at this time we were more than $30,000 in debt. This year, however, we are only $5,000 in debt.
Would you prayerfully consider helping us eliminate this debt as we start 2016?
Let me share my heart with you. The Christian Action League is a little miracle! We are the personification; I believe, of the lad who gave five loaves and two fishes to the Savior. In His hands, Jesus turned what was a little into a lot that fed thousands.
Day after day, the League operates with a limited staff, a shoe-string budget, and various volunteers, but in God’s hands, this ministry has made an enormous difference for Christ’s sake.
That is why I am asking you again to help us remove this debt today.
Someone reading this has the financial capacity to clear all of it out. Another can significantly give. Others, like the lad who had just a little, can give what they are able, but in God’s hands, a small amount can become a large amount.
The League looks forward to telling you about its plans for 2016, but for now, it would be of great help to us if you would help us close out our debt of $5,000 from 2015.

Once again, we thank you for praying for us. Remember also to pray regularly for a great revival for the church and a tremendous spiritual awakening to sweep our state and nation. And always remember to pray for those in authority, so that “we may live peaceful and quiet lives in all godliness and holiness” (I Timothy 2:2).
God Bless,
Dr. Mark Creech
