Executive Director Urges Its Use, Especially for Sanctity of Human Life Sunday‘

The numbers are startling:
- more than 3,500 Americans (virtually the same death toll of 9/11) murdered every day by abortion;
- some 52 million babies killed since abortion was legalized in 1973;
- 10 percent of whites and 28 percent of blacks wiped out before they even exit the womb.
But what’s more shocking than reading statistics is seeing the affects of abortion on the women who’ve experienced it, hearing the stories of former abortion clinic operators who are responsible for thousands of deaths, learning about the shaky legal background of Roe v. Wade and understanding the predatory nature of this billion dollar industry.
That’s the goal of BloodMoney, a documentary film now available on DVD for churches, organizations or anyone who wants to spread the word about this “American Holocaust.”
“This is not a graphic pictorial movie of abortion,” reads an announcement about the film provided by Bill Schultz, director of Street Samaritans and Gospel Ministry. “However, those who see this movie will leave profoundly touched by the exposed severity of evil deeds and lies being perpetrated, especially against our youth, their future and the future of America.”
Narrated by Dr. Alveda King, the niece of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., the film deals first with how life is defined by science — from conception — and the false idea that this is some sort of nebulous mystery. It then reveals the Supreme Court’s error in taking away the constitutional right to life from our nation’s youngest citizens.
Dr. Claire Thuning-Roberson points out that as early as the 1850s, the American Medical Association (AMA) understood that “the independent and actual existence of the child before birth as a living being is a matter of objective science.”
More than a hundred years later, a U.S. Senate report stated, “Physicians, biologists and other scientists agree that conception marks the beginning of the life of a human being — a being that is alive and is a member of the human species. There is overwhelming agreement on this point in countless medical, biological, and scientific writings.”
Further, legal experts featured in the film, which includes interviews with Norma McCorvey (Jane Roe of Roe v. Wade) and Sandra Cano (Mary Doe of Doe v. Boulton) said the Supreme Court’s 1973 ruling created a right for women that does not exist in the Constitution.
“The right to life is in the Fifth Amendment and the 14th Amendment to the Constitution,” said the Justice Foundation’s Allan E. Parker “Nowhere is there a right to abortion.”
The Rev. Frank Pavone with Priests for Life said, “The myth is not that these are not children or that these are not people. The myth is that we can take protection away from the children in the womb but hold onto it for ourselves.”
Dr. King, who had two abortions before becoming a pro-life advocate, goes on to reveal in the film how the African American community has suffered disproportionately at the hands of abortionists. Making up just 12 percent of the population, African Americans account for 36 percent of abortions. The film explores Planned Parenthood’s history as a project of eugenicist Margaret Sanger and how the organization targets minorities by locating its clinics in the heart of their neighborhoods.
“BloodMoney brings startling revelation to the forefront of the pro-life battle and exposes the true agenda behind the abortion industry. This film is truly part of the plan to set the captives free,” said Dr. King in a press release on her Priests for Life blog.
Featuring interviews with nearly four dozen people — from medical and legal experts to women who had abortions and those who helped perform them — the documentary reveals the risks of abortion and the irony that so many who have abortions do so, not because they are “pro-choice,” but because they feel they have “no choice.”
Perhaps most startling is the testimony of former abortion clinic owner Carol Everett who described how abortions are sold by telemarketing “counselors” with scripted conversations designed to lure in women who are reassured all the way to the abortion table that their “problem” is being taken care of. Her account of practices not only deceptive but potentially deadly shows the greed that overshadows any vestige of ethical medical treatment in such clinics and gives viewers insight into the “bloodmoney” atmosphere of this lucrative industry. Candid discussion of her clinic’s business plan — issuing low-dose birth control pills and cheaply made condoms knowing that many would fail and then clients would return for abortion — revealed the underlying objective: three to five abortions from every girl ages 13 to 18.
Everett’s detailed explanation of what happens at a clinic was interspersed with interviews of women who shared the rest of the story — how their lives were impacted once they left the facility after their babies had been killed.
Directed by David Kyle, the documentary was initially to be called “The American Holocaust,” but in the midst of interviews, filmmakers kept encountering the business aspect of the industry.
“People are making millions upon millions of dollars off the murdering of innocent babies,” Kyle told Life Site News.
Bill and Jeanette Shultz, who have for years been involved in pro-life ministry on the sidewalk front lines of abortion centers, are working to spread the word about BloodMoney.
“The horrors of seeing and speaking with so many young women (and fathers) entering these abortion centers motivated us last year to begin witness in front of local high schools, also on the public sidewalks, about abstinence, the perils of sexual freedom and abortion,” Bill Shultz said. “Upon learning of this movie we envisioned it as an extension of our calling by revealing its truths as a great inspiration to our fellow Christians — that so many will no longer remain silent about what our children are being taught in schools, the horrors of abortion and what it is doing to our culture.”
To join the effort and spread the word about the abortion industry, order a copy of the BloodMoney DVD online at www.bloodmoneyfilm.com. Churches, schools, organizations or individuals can purchase a two-year copyright license for $150 to screen the film as long as they don’t charge admission. It can also be used as a fundraiser for local crisis pregnancy centers and pro-life ministries via the production company’s guidelines. Or churches can unite to rent a theater and sponsor a public showing.
“As Christians, we have too often remained silent about this travesty – the murder of millions of babies. This documentary gives us a very direct way to shine the light of this truth on this dark and deadly business,” said the Rev. Mark Creech, executive director of the Christian Action League. “We urge supporters to take advantage of this, get the DVD and show it in as many venues as possible. Moreover, Sanctity of Human Life Sunday is January 23rd, this would be an excellent tool for use on that day.”
