“The unbeliever naturally puts himself first, others second, and God last. And he may think he merits the order. The Bible teaches that we should reverse the series. God is to be first; others must be second; and we must come last. The Bible says, ‘Bear ye one another’s burdens, and fulfill the law of Christ’ (Gal. 6:2). ‘For though I am free from all men, yet have I made myself servant unto all, that I might gain the more…. I am made all things to all men, that I might by all means save some’ (I Cor. 9:19, 22).
